We believe in responsibility, not charity.
Founded in 2009, Della began as a fashion line handcrafted by a community of women in Ghana, West Africa. From the beginning, our mission was simple: create dignified jobs, invest in education, and build long-term skills, not short-term aid.
That commitment led to extraordinary growth. Della became the first African-made brand carried in the Apple Store, partnered with global retailers including Vans, Nordstrom, Anthropologie, and Urban Outfitters, and was featured in leading publications such as Financial Times, Esquire, Elle, and People StyleWatch. At its peak, Della employed more than 90 people in Ghana, fulfilling its original mission through sustainable, local impact.
Today, Della has evolved into a training and development facility for youth in Hohoe, Ghana. We provide technical skills training, tailoring courses, and employment pathways for young adults, while serving as a safe, creative community hub for at-risk youth.
The work has changed.
The responsibility remains.
